What is our meeting schedule?
MQP MOPS meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month from September 21st through June 7th, 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. In December/April, we will have only one meeting due to the Christmas/Easter holiday. Childcare/MOPPETS is provided from 9:15 AM to 11:45 AM.

It's snowing outside. Has our meeting been cancelled?
We follow the Issaquah and Lake Washington School District's policy on inclement weather. If either district closes we will not meet. Check your local news broadcast for announcements or contact your Discussion Table Leader if you have any questions.

I've written a couple of checks for MOPS - what is the money being used for?
Fees include $20 annual MOPS International membership fee, $15 annual MQP MOPS registration fee (both nonrefundable), $40 Fall semester fee, $40 Spring semester fee and childcare/MOPPETS fees if needed ($15/one child, $25/two children and $30/three or more children). All checks should be made payable to Mary, Queen of Peace.

MQP MOPS is a ministry staffed by volunteers. We are blessed to have so many people volunteer to lovingly care for our children. MOPPETS fees provide snacks, craft/cleaning supplies and volunteer appreciation gifts.

I can't make this week's meeting. Do I need to do anything?
If you are unable to attend a meeting, please contact your Discussion Group Leader as soon as possible. Three absences in a semester will result in review by the Steering Team and potential forfeit of your spot to a mom on the wait list.

My child has a runny nose. Do I need to keep her home?
We really appreciate and thank you for keeping your child home if they meet any of the following conditions:

  • Has had a fever in the last 24 hours
  • Has an excessive runny nose
  • Has a rash
  • Is feeling nauseous
  • Has diarrhea
  • Has a sore throat
  • Is generally not feeling well

We are trying our best to minimize the sharing of illnesses. We don't want you to bring your healthy children and take them home less than well. Thank you so much for thinking of others.
